On October 19, 2020, Conch Venture and the People's Government of Fugou County, Henan Province successfully signed a franchise agreement for the Fugou County domestic waste incineration power generation and restaurant waste treatment project.The scale of the project will process 600 tons of domestic waste and 30 tons of kitchen waste per day.
The signing ceremony was held in the meeting room of Fugou County government and presided over by Yang Fan, Director of the Fugou County government office.Ji Qinying, general manager of Conch Venture, and Ren Songkui, member of the Standing Committee of the Fugou County Party Committee, signed the contract on behalf of both parties.
Wu Weidong, Minister of the Propaganda Department of the Standing Committee of Fugou County Committee, and the main persons in charge of relevant departments such as the County Development and Reform Commission, the Housing and Urban-rural Development Bureau, and the Ecological Environment Bureau; Han Jiwu, assistant general manager of Conch Venture, and Gu Yungao, general manager of Sishui Environment attended and witnessed the signing ceremony.
At the forum, Wu Weidong, on behalf of the Fugou County Party Committee and the county government, first expressed a warm welcome to the arrival of General Manager Ji Qinying and his entourage.He pointed out that the project is an in-depth integration of Conch Venture’s entrepreneurial practice of green development concepts and Fugou County’s deployment of promoting ecological civilization construction. After completion,it will vigorously build a new “harmless, resource-resourced, and reduced” treatment model for domestic and kitchen waste in Fugou County, and promote high-quality economic development with high-level protection of the ecological environment.It is hoped that Conch Venture will give full play to its advantages in capital, talents and technology, and with the full cooperation of Fugou County, it will make every effort to construct and operate the project.
Ji Qinying expressed his gratitude for the trust and support of the Fugou County Party Committee and the County Government, and briefly introduced the company's basic situation and the advantages of the grate furnace waste incineration power generation technology.He said that Conch Venture will continue to adhere to the business philosophy of "beautifying the environment, caring for the earth, and creating a beautiful home for mankind", and strive to create new environmentally friendly tourist attractions and economic growth highlights in Fugou County. It is hoped that the county party committee and the county government will provide strong support in later project planning, construction land, application for approval and construction, and strive to start construction before the end of the year.
Before signing the project contract, General Manager Ji Qinying went to the project site to conduct a field survey, and guided and optimized the layout of the factory area and the appearance design of the building.
